After 17 years as Dafferns Managing Partner, in 2025 I have stepped aside to become the firm’s first Chairman, driving the strategic development and growth of the firm and helping clients maximise value.
Audit Assurance and Advisory
As a trusted adviser to ambitious, creative UK and International SMEs, I help clients shape what they can control and plan for what they can’t. Clients range from £40m plus turnover groups to small self-employed contractors and include UK subsidiaries of overseas groups, manufacturing, service, construction, consulting and software companies.
Corporate Finance
I also have extensive corporate finance experience, including buying, selling and restructuring businesses, due diligence reviews, advising MBO teams and exit route planning.
Business Strategy and Planning
As an accredited Mindshop Expert facilitator, I have a keen focus on providing strategic business advice.
Hobbies and interests
I am a keen cyclist, both on road and off. Husband to one, father to two and grandfather to two, I spend as much free time as possible in the Derbyshire Peak District, walking and riding bikes, drinking good coffee and enjoying technology and photography.
