Experience

As Tax Partner with over 20 years of experience I am well versed in both the compliance and advisory requirements of my clients and can help resolve any issues if they arise.

Having graduated from the University of Sheffield, I commenced my career with HMRC where I qualified as a Senior Tax Inspector, completed my ACCA qualification and worked in Whitehall. I have a decade of practice experience, working for two top 10 accountancy firms in the Midlands. I primarily work within the owner managed business sector supporting clients with their tax opportunities and challenges.

My experience has a corporate bias to it but I have also worked in the employment taxes and private client arenas. I believe this is essential in order to provide a robust client service experience.

Hobbies and interests

I have two young children and love to show them different parts of the world. I enjoy watching live sport with a particular passion for Leeds United and Trent Rockets. I also own a classic car which my intention is to restore when time allows.
