“Dafferns eat cake for charity!”

We’re thrilled to have successfully raised another £400 for Guide Dogs through our recent Tea & Cake ‘party’ fundraiser 

Our tea and cake party was a huge success thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and donated.

We had a lovely afternoon filled with delicious treats, a puppy sweepstake, a tea quiz, a bake-off competition, a blindfold challenge, lots of laughter and great conversation. We were especially grateful to all the bakers who generously donated their time and ingredients to make the amazing cakes and treats. 

The money we raised will go towards supporting Guide Dogs’ life-changing work, helping to provide essential training and support for their guide dogs and their handlers. These incredible dogs make a huge difference in the lives of people with visual impairments, helping them to regain their independence and live a full and active life.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to our fundraising efforts. Your support and generosity have made a real difference to the lives of people with visual impairments and their guide dogs. We couldn’t have done it without you.  

We are already planning our next 2 fundraising events – the annual charity Tennis & Table Tennis tournaments and the Wake-a-thon both coming up in July and hope to raise even more money for Guide Dogs.
