We are delighted to announce the promotion of Emily Ball-Goldfinch to Director at Dafferns, effective from 1 January 2026.
This well-deserved recognition marks an exciting new chapter both for Emily and for the firm as we continue to develop and strengthen our leadership team.
Emily joined Dafferns in August 2022 and has since played a pivotal role within our audit and assurance team. Emily’s journey has been characterised by her determination, expertise, and passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Further underlining her professional achievements, Emily has recently become registered as an audit Responsible Individual (RI) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
This enables her to sign off audit reports and demonstrates her deep technical competence and commitment to the highest standards of audit quality. She joins Lucy Hatton, David Halkett and Geoffrey Cox as RIs in the firm, confirming our commitment to our audit and assurance service. Emily will also be taking on RI responsibilities for a number of clients where she has previously served as senior manager, providing continuity and assurance to those long-standing relationships.
Emily’s promotion is another significant step in Dafferns’ ongoing strategy to build a truly independent, forward-looking firm.
