Dafferns partners Martin Gibbs, Brian Jukes and Andy Bewick joined over 100 AGN members from across the world for the 2015 AGN World Congress in Vancouver, Canada.
AGN is one of the largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world, with 189 member firms in 88 countries
Running over 3 days from 25 October, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, the conference covered
- updates on AGN’s 2016 business development plans
- international auditing, accounting and taxation
- as well as keynotes from Susan Scott on Fierce Conversations and Sandra Ford Walston on Courage in the Workplace – seemingly Courage in the USA and Canada is not a beer…
The most important part of the conference was however the opportunity to spend time with fellow members from across the world, catching up with several European members we met in Copenhagen in June, as well as meeting new contacts from the Middle East, South America the USA and Canada.
It really is a small world – we discovered that we have a mutual client with another AGN member – the host firm in Vancouver, Rolfe Benson and their Managing Partner Rob Watts.
