Dafferns joined AGN International in June 2015, with our first event being the EMEA Regional Conference in Copenhagen. 10 years on, we take a look back at our first decade with AGN.
AGN International is a global association of independent accounting and advisory firms, with approaching 200 members across over 80 countries. Our membership with AGN has enabled us to forge connections that assist Dafferns’ clients in conducting business worldwide, while also supporting international companies in their UK ventures.
Our first decade with AGN International has been immensely successful, driving significant growth in both our firm’s top-line turnover and the breadth of connections, insights, and experiences gained by our team members. These benefits have been realised through participation in international conferences, Next Gen Leadership programs, and AGN’s various regional committees and boards.
Martin Gibbs, Dafferns’ Managing Partner at the time, served as AGN EMEA Regional Chairman from 2019 to 2022. He adeptly led the region through the pandemic, multiple lockdowns, and regional conferences in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Bratislava.
The Dafferns team, including Brian Jukes, Lucy Hatton, Sophie Essex-Masmoudi, Karen Keeling, and Martin Gibbs, has attended World and EMEA conferences in cities such as Copenhagen, Munich, Vancouver, Washington, Tokyo, Nashville, and Rome. These events have been instrumental in building connections and fostering the firm’s growth.
Looking ahead, Dafferns aims to continue leveraging our AGN membership to expand our global reach, enhance our service offerings, and support our clients in navigating international markets.
