    David Halkett, Joanne Curtis, Sunny Sandhu, and So David Halkett, Joanne Curtis, Sunny Sandhu, and Sophie Essex-Masmoudi have just completed the two‑day MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) training with instructor, Lisa Whittleton. The training has equipped the team with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to support colleagues at Dafferns as well as anyone in their wider work or personal lives who may be experiencing challenges with their mental health. It’s been an intense and eye‑opening two days, helping to deepen their understanding of the early signs that someone might be struggling, how to approach open and supportive conversations with kindness and care, and how to guide towards the right help. Most importantly, David, Jo, Sunny and Sophie are available to listen from day one, not only when things reach a crisis point.
