Information Technology is a very wide ranging title, one which has to be taken very seriously when looking after clients’ data. Steve's role at Dafferns is to make sure that all IT systems are available to use 24 hours a day, are protected from internet threats and are up to date with latest technology applications. Client information has to be stored securely and protected against malicious electronic attacks. Our staff don’t just work at the office but can be located up and down the country. They need to be in touch with the office data systems using email and telephone communications. The internet makes this achievable, and controlling how this works is Steve's responsibility.
