Deborah is a specialist Corporate Reporting Manager who main focus is in the Third Sector supporting our charity and not-for-profit clients. She is heavily involved in the production of our Charity Newsletter for which she writes many of the articles. 


What do you do at Dafferns?
I am responsible for coordinating, planning, overseeing and conducting the financial audits or independent examination of charitable and not-for-profit entities; ensuring that a seamless service is provided. I have almost 30 years of experience in accountancy, audit and financial reporting.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I am on the board of governors for 2 local Coventry primary schools and I am currently the Chair of the Executive Board of the federation of these schools. When I have free time, I enjoy spending it at my allotment and have recently taken on a full plot which I am changing and redesigning as I tackle each segment. There is something very therapeutic about being there after a busy week!

Have you got a special skill or hidden talent?
I am known for fun cake making in my home & social group. I made an R2D2 cake for my brother. Having an allotment means that quite often there is a surplus of produce so I make my own jams, chutneys and other preserves to enjoy.

Deborah is a Charity and Not For Profit specialist with a wealth of knowledge and experience in this sector.
Deborah is responsible for managing a portfolio of predominantly charity and not-for-profit clients ranging in size from small local charities to those with a national network of associations and those forming part of a global network. Her responsibilities include audit, independent examination, accounting and reporting, and charity commission compliance.
Deborah is responsible for the production of our quarterly Charity Newsletter “Spotlight on Charities”.
